I’m being told I can’t just pickup my OEM lightbar. Anyone else have this issue. Service center says they have to legally install it. I don’t want to install it but want what was promised to me as part of the FS Beast. This way I can have it with the vehicle when I decide to sell it.

Anyone know of a workaround.

Schedule the install at a different service center, you can always cancel the apt / pick a different SC. Message service and see if they will let you do a grab and go, if not pick a different SC and try again.

I picked up mine last year. Shouldn't be any legal issues (though without them doing the vehicle mods for the bracket, it's maybe not safely mountable)

Yeah, Tesla’s been pretty strict on that lately - they often treat it as an installed accessory tied to service liability/approval.
Realistically there isn’t a legit workaround; if the SC says install-only, you’re stuck with that route or escalating through Tesla support.
