Just did a quick test before installing the Decked drawers. Put our mountain bike on the tailgate and the bike window gas strut held up really well over speed bumps and potholes. No noticeable movement and still plenty of clearance for the bike

Ohhhh, so maybe it can act as an extra (flatish) spoiler for a trailer...
I just realized, I'm taller than the cap hatch... how much angle can the hinges take? I'm guessing the rear spoiler prevents much more rotation...
