Hankook offers 100day trial period. These will out perform the pirelli and more tread depth, better warranty at half the price. Easy button.
I'm leaning towards trying these...not crazy about the narrow width look but my stock pirellis are getting low with only 18k miles and stock size is $$$

Fyi: I just got them installed at America’s Tire; $1325 including the certificates taxes and fees (San Jose, California). They ordered them last week Saturday for me. Just the tires were $226 each.

I also bought the LTX Platinums due to the range warranty, however the hit to wh/m is brutal, I calculated 17% higher consumption avg - Thanks for the info on this thread!

Thanks for the tip, looks like I might be able to get a similar deal.

how do you like the look v the stock pirellis, my concern is just the width but I think it will be fine

also, how is the ride and range?

The looks are a bit less “agressive” then the Pirelli Scorpions stock tire. in particular the tread pattern. But looks are not a major concern for me, long levity (and price) are.
Cannot say anything about the ride and range yet, drove only 25 miles today on city streets. Keeping an eye on it when I make longer trips the coming weeks.

I saw your other post with pics, thanks

Yeah less aggressive but not bad

My problem is I’m used to lifted trucks and it skews my view but with CT I agree that performance and longevity

oh, one more thing, I was planning on setting the wheel and tire size to 285/70/18 if I do this (same as long range) as that is the closest in size to the 275/65/20 to put the speedometer and range calculations slightly closer....not much different though

Stock: 285/65/20: 34.6" (1.4% higher than hankook)
Stock 18: 285/70/18: 33.7" (1.2% lower than hankook)

Hankook: 275/65/20: 34.1"

Does this sound correct: “The total combined weight of a Tesla Cybertruck 20" Core Wheel and its factory 35" tire (typically the Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT) is approximately 91 to 97 lbs (41.3 to 44 kg) per corner”

actually, I just realized another option 285/60/20....lots of inexpensive tires in that size too....same width as stock and same diameter as the 18's....decisions, decisions

certainly sounds possible, tire alone is 55lbs which would put the stock 20" rims in the 36-42lb range which sounds about right for a 20" rim

Yes, definitely in that range. I weighed mine when new and I can't recall the exact weights but they were somewhere around 96 lbs. each, as I recall.

What’s your thoughts on the Hankooks?
I still need lighter core wheels or aftermarket to shave off another 5 to 10lbs per wheel.
