Early 2/20 reservation here.

AI said 8/23 to 11/20 early last month. Now it just says 2027 the last 3X I inquired.

I was hoping for a 2027 build anyway so no big hurry on my end. I believe Tesla switched to 2026 CT production last year sometime in September. I read somewhere that the VIN will switch to "V" for the 2027 model year.

I was an early 11/22/2019 reservation holder so it's going on 7 years this November. I can wait a few more months.

Literally in the same boat 11/22/2019 reservation. Feels like an eternity I've been waiting. Also ordered the SAWD on 2/20.

Hey Elon, if you're reading this, I'm a loyal Model Y owner and Tesla fanboi/loyalist and obsessed with the CT. Been waiting a long time. Help a brother out

Guys, two new cybertrucks pictures appear in this group, price is around $71000. It should not the 59k sawd cybertrucks most of us here are waiting?

I don't think any of the SAWD CTs that have arrived at showrooms are pre-sold (hence the $71K MSRP). My guess is that they are probably for public DEMO only for now.

That’s what the service center guy told me , these trucks are for show and they don’t know anything more about when other trucks are coming for delivery.

Richmond, VA Service Center Update

I stopped by the Richmond showroom before they closed today. Take this with a grain of salt since I don't think the sales people have the most updated information or even care to know, but I was told they have no info when they might get a "show" SAWD, even after I mentioned Charlotte, NC had one. He also said he just came up from the Norfolk, VA center and their were none there either. To his credit, there was none on the Richmond lot.

As I was leaving I decided to check out their off-site overflow lot, about 2 miles away and I didn't find any SAWDs..... but they had a unicorn (RWD) there! Looked like it had been there a while, no tags and was pretty dirty. I almost missed it since it has the 20" wheels but what made me stop was no tonneau.

I love the interior. The grey textile seats look great to me and better yet, the wife liked them. If I had to guess, this was a trade in but I should have snagged the VIN. If I get a chance I'll call them this week to find out the story. I'd like to at least look it over if it's for sale.

I completely agree with you. You must be a very intelligent person. There is no way Tesla would price the Cybertruck on par with the Model Y Performance. I truly congratulate anyone who managed to buy one for $59,000; it really is a steal. There certainly won't be a second chance.

Correct. My '24 Model S Plaid that I bought for 92,380 according to my Tesla Order Agreement had a Monroney that read 107,880. There was also a significant mismatch when I bought a '21 Model Y.

Your purchase price can and likely will to be different than whatever the Monroney says.

For folks lucky enough to experience a new SAWD on the lot, here is a list of questions inquiring minds want to know. Feel free to add to the list.

• Does the SAWD come with floor mats?
• Does the tailgate open and close like the Premium models (dampened open and assisted close)?
• Does the sound system have speakers in the rear doors?
• Can you measure the height from ground to body at drivers door?
• Does it have Baja Mode?
• Does it have Wade Mode? Think not since we don't have a compressor or height adjustable suspension.
• Pictures with the headlights on, and with the turn signals on in front.
• Any child seat LATCH points in the center rear seat? Doesn't look like it from the photos.

All great questions! Wish I had tested out more features.

• I didn’t see any floor mats inside the car, frunk, and cargo area.
• Tailgate does have the same damp opening and soft-close mechanism.
