I have an early morning trip, so I won’t have much time to play around. However, I’ll definitely let you know how the drive is after I get back from the dealer. I’ve had the opportunity to test drive a PAWD five times, so I have some knowledge about its specifications and features.

Seeing the height makes me think a step will not be needed, I am curious what you think when you pick yours up. I do not mind adding one if needed, but wouldn't add on if I bought the premium.

agree. The one nice thing is being able to reach the roof when washing but sometimes they interfere with getting in/out.

That CT was a strange one! No bed outlets, no powered tonneau, and with almost 7000 miles I would swear that was a RWD version repurposed for an "interior" demo.

The YT title was pure Click Bait.

The truck was clearly a used RWD model with nearly 7,000 miles on the odometer. If the CC bent down he would not see axle shafts to the front wheels.

Just a bit of caution with the seat covers since the rear arm rest doesn’t fold down not sure how these will install since all of them (currently) seem to be made for the pawd /beast.

I’m looking to add them to mine so hopefully I’ll have more info shortly if it looks possible or maybe have to wait on the companies to make them specific to the SAWD.

I thought about that. I’m pretty sure 90% of the covers will fit. I’m hopeful I can make it all work. If not hopefully I can get them to ship me the updated pieces.

Updated FAQ:

• Are the "tweeters" in the A-pillars real? i.e. does high frequency sound come out from the grills? Hint: take a paper towel tube and stick your ear up to it.
• Can you measure the height from ground to body at drivers door?
• Is the front diff locker control in the UI now?
• Does the SAWD come with a mobile charger?
  
  
• Does the sound system have speakers in the rear doors? Yes
• Does it have Baja Mode? No Off-Road modes!
• Does it have Wade Mode? Think not since we don't have a compressor or height adjustable suspension. No Off-Road modes!
• Pictures with the headlights on, and with the turn signals on in front. @TarheelCT confirmed it's just like the RWD version, i.e. no clear LED"strip" next to the headlights, just the turn signals.
• Any child seat LATCH points in the center rear seat? Not between the seat bottom and backreast but there is one up top, behind the center headrest.
• Does the SAWD come with floor mats? Does not.
• Does the SAWD have a rear seat armrest/cupholder. No, it's just like the RWD rear seat.
• Does the tailgate open and close like the Premium models (dampened open and assisted close)? Confirmed the same as the PAWD.
• What is the offset of the steel wheels? Answered in the owner's manual, same as 20" at 58.5mm

Yea, I wondered about that too. I did try to reach out to Hanshow, with no response. I dedided $250 shipped for these was worth the risk. I almost ordered green. But all my other teslas have white, so I went with white. I saw one brand had saddle, I considered that too, but then I couldn’t find them.
when you get yours, take lots of pick of the back seat, folded up and down. I think if it’s 60/40, it’ll mostly mit. Probably just not the center part.

Return my model 3 lease in August so praying it gets in closer to that date.

Return my model 3 lease in August so praying it gets in closer to that date.

Don’t put much stock in the AI bot lately. It’s temperamental. I’m sure as folks fill out the info they can start gauging the logistics for delivery.

Oh I still have my Original cybertruck order from the launch. This was the first configuration that actually came close to the pricing I could sensibly pay for a car. Still have my OG reservation as well which will give me $100 off this order
