Don't you need FSD for smart summon? I doubt a lot of Basics will have FSD since cost is a priority. Although month 1 everyone gets a free FSD trial. Most likely we'll see Foundation Series and those who got FSD for 0% apr using it.ASS was announced for the CT, there’s about to be a hell of a lot more driverless SAWDs in parking lots!!
I think a segment of consumers is emerging and will continue to grow that are waking up to the benefits of FSD, and looking for the cheapest platform to get into it. These are your non-enthusiasts that view a vehicle as a necessary appliance.

Unfortunately Tesla rarely provides mats on the lower end trims. There are some great mats out from 3W (and others) that I ended up ordering. Details a few pages back.

Mars is a California company started by an ex-Tesla engineer. I believe all products are designed in the US, but if I had to guess, mfg is in China. Never heard anything bad about their gear but you may want to drop them a line if that is important.
