I have nothing to do but free time, so I did a dummy run on VIN auto check for 94000-95000. There are about 92/1000 searchable VINs. 40/92 have more than 1 historical records whereas 52/92 showing 0 historical records. My VIN is part of that 52. So..... the FK? when will they get to my truck? It is highly likely that this search isn't updated due to timing/cutoff/refresh but does give me some general info. I also believe the production of the trucks isn't sequential so these number may mean nothing. I am just trying to kill time instead of refreshing the stupid APP. I used autocheck.com by Experian.

Well this is interesting. I just got a trade-in estimate, that I approved, and now, according to the Delivery Status app: "No Orders Found"

When I go to the Tesla app: there is only a blue button 'go to account'.
When I login, online, it still shows the RN#, but when I click manage, it's a 404!
So; either Tesla canceled my order, or the system is jacked up...

Anyone want to guess which it is ?

Btw I’m going through other threads concerning PCS failure … those are pretty much crowded … lot of CTs awaiting appointments for rectification of this issue and are delayed because of lack of spare parts. The containment hold CTs most probably need the same equipment replacement. So most probably my summer trips on a FSD equipped CT are gone !!!

Another fun fact I learned. Every 100 VIN number, only 9 VINs exist/serachable.

I think PCS is a totally different issue. These containment hold trucks, i think, are all getting replacement batteries. If you guys can swing a new VIN then thats definitely the way to go.

I don’t disagree but how would one know they’re not just swapping VINs among other held trucks?

Latest flyovers have some pretty good closeups on the wheels. Summing up the last 3-4 days it’s been near-daily flyovers and obvious most of those trucks are simply parked (and have been). High likelihood the back-of-lot cluster of CT’s are waiting on some fix.

Meanwhile some are lined up for shipping out I’d guess about 10 per week, as even the outbound shipping isn’t exactly high-flow.

Lacking yoy context my assumption is still that this is way under-capacity for the facility overall, which is strange because at end of quarter a push for deliveries seems normal; my guess is their priority pivots to cybercab, the long model y, and whatever fixes CT needs are part, if not all, of why. Just speculation tho.
