Pickup tomorrow morning - how fun!

Picked mine up today. FSD all the way home...2hrs from the dealership...now that was awesome. The delivery expereince...yeah that sucks. Where can you spend $100k+ for a car and 3 sales guy sit on their phones and just tell you to go walk up to your car and follow the app. The cyberbeast was filthy inside and out...just a ridiculous sales experience. Now I am not just comparing to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Range Rover or Mercedes...I'm comparing to Ford, Chevy and Toyota...I love the car but the customer service from delivery to pickup was terrible! Other than that...the cyberbeast is awesome!

I am sure everything you say is true. From my experience though, if you complain and speak to a sales manager at the location (and the worker Tesla bees do have managers), they usually will clean things up and make it right. Still, you shouldn't have to ask. Agreed, it's NEVER going to be like a Mercedes or BMW dealership, but we deserve at least the basics, and it's absolutely shameful that we have to ASK for better customer service from Tesla.

I picked mine up yesterday and love it!

However don’t have FSD and still no update available for download yet I have connected to WiFi and rebooted several times to no avail. From what I’ve read here and elsewhere it seems like again, will be waiting an indefinite amount of time.

I also haven’t been able to get my PowerShare setup/connected yet so have to reach out to the installer and Tesla again tomorrow.

I had to drive a few miles (about 7) before cameras calibrated and the FSD worked well. I’m tinting windshield and windows Monday. The dealer was afraid to tint my windshield bec he said they had been notified the windshield might crack. Other than that things have been good. That’s odd about the FSD? Did you contact service?

Good to know! My ride home from Tesla was 120 miles so I’d hope that’d be enough to calibrate / ready the cameras.

I did make a service request and plan to call service center today. Kicking myself for not asking before I left yesterday

I picked mine up from inventory and was likely sitting on the lot for a long time. When I was assigned a VIN, I asked the salesperson in chat to check and update any software available.
When I picked up my truck it had the latest (at the time) FSD ready to go.

Since yours came off the factory line it probably still had .100 version. You’ll need to wait a bit.

Thank you for this helpful reply! Good to know it’s expected behavior and no issue. I’m loving it overall and was really excited for FSD. A good lesson in patience for me and I can’t really complain at all about my overall experience.

Guess I’ll just have to enjoy driving it myself for now
