We’ve posted 2027+ Cybertruck feature wishlist, I’m not talking about that in this post. My question is, is the Cybertruck you have 2024, 2025, and 2026, perfect or are their one or more daily annoyances?

Thinking my and my family experience, nothing annoys us BUT needs were handled with accessories (not the usual accessories):

-front and rear entry grips, installed suction grip pulls to four spots of roof glass
Tesla Cybertruck Cybertruck, Perfection or Urgent Need IMG_0518

-Magbak phone mounts, as we were use to for all of Tesla vehicles ownerships, no phone overheat, FSD movie watching
Tesla Cybertruck Cybertruck, Perfection or Urgent Need IMG_0519

we have one on each side, his and hers
- front dash USBC, we supply power to the Magbaks via USB cables from each rear port
-more space in front of center console space, more storage, added the center console insert, best, transforms the front space, creates space where there was none
-we added a T shaped hitch step for getting in the bed

these we haven’t been able to solve:
-annoying, wish we had front and rear camera rain hoods and washers
-for off road, we wish we had trail or fog light

that’s it

Just wiper dry wipes is the only thing that bugs me.
I found old school rainX on the camera keep them clean in the rain.

Not sure I would trust the windshield to hold your weight... But that's me.

I added some darker tint across the top of the windshield to address the gap above the visor. That's the only item in the daily annoyance category for me.

I think the windshield is plenty strong for that, my concern would be how it might injure you in an accident or mess up deployment of the airbags. Plus, I don't see the need given how easy entry/exit already is.

2025 awd, id say most of my annoyances have been worked out in service.

Theres an annoying creak that comes from somewhere in the rear of the cabin with every acceleration or deceleration that service has offered to “try” to fix but also called “normal”, so thats pending.

The random dry wiping on fsd/crappy auto wiper feature is annoying but my work around is to turn off auto wiper when i start fsd. Sometimes its quick and wipes as soon as i engage though. Makes me clench my jaw.

I've also noticed a weird navigation bug where ill select a route home from work and it will randomly change the route to go on the highway for 1 exit. I have it set to only reroute to save multiple minutes but it doesnt care, the only way around it is to turn on “avoid highways”.

One other interesting bug (not really an annoyance) is that when you turn on “mars mode” while there is a destination in navigation, it removes the destination from nav.

Daily annoyances:
1) Inability to select the camera app with the camera button (work-around: "Cameras" voice command and/or add app to dock)
2) Dry wipes in FSD (work around: turn off with "wipers off" voice command and/or add wiper control to dock)
3) Lack of awareness of speed limit (work around: drop out of FSD to slow down or ride the accelerator to speed up)

you talking about the UI bug that fails to move the camera from shifting menus, or something else?

I've also wanted handles and thought about it. It isn't easy.

Side curtain airbags have made handles hard to do and expensive. I can see how to do it but there are legal issues. One needs to have a spot to solidly attach the base. That can easily be designed into the A pillar and roof edge. The handle is the hard part This is because of the airbag. It must not interfere with the inflation of the aide curtain airbag. It also must not be in a zone where a head might hit it for other liability reasons. This means it can't hang diagonally in like most did. It needs to have the handle have curved mounts and be closer to the side window, windshield, or roof. That is so the airbag has place to be before deployment, and not interfere with deployment. I lean towards having the handle to the inside, but that is worse for head strike. Then there is the issue of somebody having their hand on a handle when the side airbag goes off.
