“Schedule Delivery Appointment” step activity hours?

I have my VIN now. Help me stop checking the app every minute to see if I can schedule a date!

If I knew that it only happens during the day, I could stop checking the app in the middle of the night.

If I knew that it only happens Monday through Friday I could have the whole weekend off from checking.

Can anyone help? When did YOU discover that you can choose a delivery date?

I went over to the showroom and was asking about changing the tires to the all-season and they asked me if I wanted to set up a delivery date. I had JUST gotten the VIN that (yesterday) morning and they already had the truck on the lot. So I guess it couldn't hurt to call or go to the showroom and ask in person.

I received my VIN on 4/28, and just received that glorious text to schedule my delivery of my AWD CT, which is set for tomorrow (5/12), So, the text came early on a Saturday morning. Time from VIN to delivery was exactly 2 weeks. I’m in SoCal.

I’m in Washington State across the water from Seattle. I got my VIN on April 29… maybe it’ll happen to me soon.

I can’t seem to find a phone number that doesn’t lead to Menu Hell so I guess I better make a trip to a service center!

I talked to my service center yesterday and they told me to talk to the guys where the CT will be delivered, which is a local showroom.

I‘m in SoCal too (Upland SC will be delivery site). VIN on 05/09. Wondering if contacting the SC speeds up the process at all, haha!!

Stopped by the SC and set up the delivery date for the next day.

if you can swing it, stop by. I think that’s your best bet to stop stalking the app. Hahaha

I did communicate with them via the Tesla App. I would bug them every few days and they would just tell me it was “in transit” - meaning that had no info. However, the last time I texted them, they said it was expected either late this week or early next, and 3 days later I scheduled my delivery.

Thank you! I had looked there and only found prior messages, but now I see in I open the one saying financing was approved, I have a chance to reply.

FWIW, I swung by the Upland SC.

The advisor said it should be about a week from VIN to delivery notice. That puts me at Thursday, 05/16.

I mentioned that all my pre-delivery tasks are done and I’ve got a Cashiers Check burning a hole in my pocket, haha!!

They said they’d message the delivery team to let them know I was 100% ready for delivery and that ‘might’ bump me up a bit, but no guarantees.

I counted about 20 CT’s scattered around the lot. None of them were mine…believe me, I checked, haha!!

Interesting (to me anyway!) was the CT’s on the lot were all 7xxx to 9xxx. My CT is 11xxx. Maybe still on the train from Austin??
