I’m wondering if you were rust spot may be from metal left on it from the other vehicle.
I'm sure they are.
It's basically a car std

I get a real kick out of all the worries of rust on Cybertruck's stainless steel. The video wasn't clear enough for me to tell what's going on there, but the one thing you can be sure of is the SS panel is not rusting. It's a high chromium SS, it's not going to get orange rust. It's probably some regular mild steel that held the Subaru's plastic fender cover on that rubbed off on the Cybertruck.

It amazes me that so many people are worried about SS rusting.

Much cheaper than fixing the door ding on my Rivian which hit the gear tunnel door and part of the side of truck bed - $8900 to fix it. lol

I had to laugh when I picked my Cybertruck up. The Tesla employee told me it will rust in a couple weeks. I highly doubt it, actually in 3.5 weeks now no rust and daily driving and lots of rain. Washed it once with standard car soap and water. No wrap.

I am just glad you did not go to Temu's a lot cheaper alternative.
