Ha I'd prob hope to think so but probably not.
I'm a lowly 11309 here in Austin TX but want a VIN I hope ASAP as stuck in a rental car until delivery.

We both got our VINs today and we’re both in SoCal. Where or how did you get a delivery date? I paid in full in the app and I can’t confirm the Tesla insurance without the delivery date. What did you do? Did you receive some other communication? Thnx

Got my VIN yesterday and a call from local Tesla SC that my truck arrived yesterday but they are booked for new deliveries until next week. Got the first available appt next Wednesday!

Still trying to sort out the payment process, but they suggested I pay in advance. Was going to stop by today and make sure it is in one piece and not grossly messed up and then maybe I will try to make final payment on Monday.

Nice! I’ve seen quite a few more beasts on the roads down here. I’m in Dana. Did they meet the original ETA they gave at the time you placed the order?

They never gave me an ETA when I placed my order. If they did, I missed it and it doesn’t appear anywhere in my order docs. Odd but true. But it’s been 5 months since config. Longer than many who placed an order after me. You gonna do a wrap?

Does Tesla send you an email when a VIN gets assigned? I know you can check the app but don't want to check it 1000's of times per day.
I also see people saying they send a message through the app but mine does not show that option. Will the app allow that when I get a VIN assigned?
