My experience is that all staff will tell you that the app is the only source for updates. Is it recommended to call the local SC to get a date approximation or wait until the app gives you the option to create a delivery day?
Wear gloves to protect your nails and try not to get discouraged. If I had to guess you are still weeks away.1) The first 5 digits of your RN#. (11299)
2) The date you configured your truck. (4/06/2024)
3) The date you received your VIN assignment: TBD
4) The Date you took delivery TBD
5) Your state - California
I am waiting and waiting, and keep biting my nails waiting for my app to tell me I have a VIN!
Any good words of wisdom!!
I can’t do this because they’ve never sent me any messages in app so there’s nothing to reply to. And I have a VIN.Tesla is pretty responsive on answering text messages in the app. Go to your Cybertruck order screen where it shows a CT and your RN in the top left. Under your Reservation number is Vehicle Details where you will find your VIN when it comes.
Top right, next to the menu lines is a message button where you can chat with Tesla customer support. If you ask reasonable questions they answer or they give those non-commitment non-answers like "You will be notified when your VIN is available." I got that one a couple of times because I kept trying to get and estimated delivery.
