She didn't have the original covers when she first got her cybertruck. There is probably only a few hundred trucks that got the covers from the initial production.

It would be really awkward if they didn't realize that tires were wider where they were contacting the road (under the weight of the truck), made the covers, had the shape for the covers molded into the tires, and then had to make covers that were shorter and left gaps in the molded design of the tire. All they had to do was use their brain before the tires were made, and the design could have matched the tire. If this is where things are going, it won't match anymore.

I hope this is the new replacement design however it does seem trimmed. The same thread on X shows someone who trimmed theirs for visuals.

What is more interesting is the fact the interior door panel is powder coated black. It is not the default stainless steel. Moreover the interior is the new Stealth option.

I am thinking she had her vehicle tuned up aftermarket, and this is a non-standard configuration.

There were Release Candidate trucks running around for months. It's got to have been an issue with either the wheel cover supplier or tire manufacturer that once they started mass manufacturing them that the issue showed up.
