Dropped Cybertruck off for a wrap and shop gave me a loaner. I’ve driven nothing but Cybertruck since I picked it up 2 weeks ago and have about 1000 miles. It was insane going back to driving a regular vehicle (a gmc Yukon). No steer by wire, anemic acceleration, buttons everywhere, steering wheel feels comically big like a helm on a huge old ship.

Amazing how quickly my brain adapted to how much better Cybertruck driving is compared to legacy cars. No way I could ever go back.

I only got to drive my CT for 3 days BUT: the loaner 2023 Model S I was given feels like ancient history with the yoke that I have to turn and flip upside down to turn a corner.

Same. It has me wondering if I will indeed keep my MS as planned because it’s so different to drive.

With no test drives, people like me who have never driven CT will just have to drool over these threads, imagining how it’ll be to drive it one day. Every dog has its day, meanwhile please do continue to rub the experience on our face
I dread needing to drive a rental.
like this ☝??

I moved my ICE vehicle 30 yards yesterday to wash the Cybertruck and couldn't figure out why it didn't start. Turns out I forgot to put it in park and kept it in reverse after turning off the engine. Then I almost ran into the curb while backing up because I'd forgotten how to drive a regular vehicle without steer-by-wire.

I had the exact same experience last week. I went from driving a Jeep Wrangler for 8 years to a Cybertruck. I drove it for more than 1000 miles and then I needed to go to the airport, but I didn't want to leave the Cybertruck there so I drove the Jeep again. I about had an accident getting out of the driveway. The steering wheel felt so "sloppy". It was a bit of an "oh s**t" moment as I had gotten so used to tight steering and the single pedal driving that I had to relearn to drive a bit. I felt really silly and immediately missed driving the CT.

you guys are completely ruining & destroying the usual Tesla narrative that once you drive Tesla you never want to go back to ICE (other EVs as well) but now Cybertruck's gonna ruin other Tesla. May be Tesla won't have Cybertruck test drive.

After driving Cybertruck for 2 months I switched to my Model Y and felt so small, esp the windshield gave me a claustrophobic feeling. The steering felt dated. I used to think Model Y was a spacious, super-cool vehicle, not anymore!. I also have a Toyota Tacoma truck, again, the small windshield & visibility shocked me.

I simply love my tank!

I owned an S, an X, a 3 and Y. IMHO, the S makes no sense anymore -- all the advantages of a smoother, larger wheelbase vanish when compared with the Cybertruck.

I have a 2023 Tesla Model X, and when I got back into it I lol'd at the windshield wipers. They were adorable.
I now have 6,000 mi in 3 weeks behind the wheel of a Cybertruck and there's no going back.

Parking the CT is insanely easy. You can maneuver this thing anywhere and the cameras are excellent. It will be even better when we get updated software with Park Assist and the like. My son had a GMC Denali and I always thought it drove and parked well for a truck. It now feels like a dinosaur.

Ha ha! I know, right?! Soon all unbelievers will bow at the foot of the future the Cybertruck has ushered in with one single remake of the transportation device as we know it.
