Merritt Island FS AWD in showroom

Over the last few months I’ve seen the occasional customer vehicle awaiting delivery and have always been underwhelmed by the general cleanliness (total lack of), misaligned panels and protruding seals. Now they have one in the showroom, manufactured 4/2, and it looks great in all regards. I was able to climb in and play with the functions and I even tried out the rear seat floor and seats for “van life” sleeping. It felt much roomier with the seats down and on top them than with them up and laying on the floor. This was a big relief for me because I want to use the under seat storage and don’t want to have to move stuff around when it’s time to sleep. I was surprised how difficult it is to close the doors without putting prints on them. I think a strip of ppf at the rear of the doors is the best way for me and my occasional passengers and grandkids to use them.

Nice I didn't know they had one in the showroom. I've seen several out front there locked up. Mine is due in this coming week. Wait a minute did you look at the VIN? Guess I know where I'm going in the morning.

I did but didn’t write it down. It was something like 7700. But I think the manufacturing date is more important than VIN for our situational awareness. It’s obviously not a customer car or they wouldn’t let folks in it. There is a customer car in the parking lot.

I’ll be picking mine up at Merritt island also (live in CCB). Configured a couple of weeks ago, waiting on vin. Hopeful I’ll pick up early-mid June.

I configured on 3/12/24 and got my VIN on 5/14. Last msg from Tesla said they expected it to arrive around the 26th of May which is tomorrow. ? Maybe the one sitting out front is mine but I haven't heard anything. Might have to drive over and check the VIN.

My pickup is tomorrow. ?? I stopped by today to check it but it was in back being prepped so I didn't see mine. I was shocked how many CTs were on the lot I counted 9 out front and the one in the show room. I was told there were several more in the back with mine and that most will be delivered in the next few days. I'm guessing Jetstar got his as he hasn't been back and is likely too busy breaking in the truck.
