I finally got it! Feel like a kid at Christmas. Just posting here for anyone wondering what the VIN process looks like, since I have read many people are checking their Tesla apps multiple times a day, as was I.
Invite: 3/18
Configured: 3/23
VIN assigned: 5/29
I checked my app daily. And clicked details to see if a magical VIN was there. Never was. I assumed the app would send a push notification but it never did. I got a text message (assuming you linked your phone number to your profile on app) and it said this:
Tesla Delivery: You have a new message from a Tesla Advisor about your Cybertruck order. Read and reply at ts.la/app
I went to the app and checked again and the VIN was there. In case anyone is wondering the process. Just keep an eye out for that text message, no need to check app daily. (Although I know us Tesla freaks will still check)
