The Cybertruck greatly outperforms my off-road expectations when the going becomes increasingly more rugged. In my experience, if you can't get where you're going with a Cybertruck, you need some pretty specialized off-road equipment to get there. At a minimum, a short wheelbase vehicle like a Jeep.

I've had two short wheelbase 4x4's, and while fun, the short wheelbase gives them a terrible ride over rugged terrain. The Cybertuck goes all the same places I would want to take a Jeep, but it does it easier, and with so much more comfortable of a ride. Off-roading on rugged terrain is never really comfortable and easy from a passenger perspective, but the Cybertruck makes it more so than any other vehicle I've been over rugged terrain in.

Compared to regular 4x4 ICE pickups, there is no comparison. Not only in comfort, but Cybertruck goes places they cannot, at least not in stock form. Granted, most Cybertruck owners are not going to be challenging the limits that are possible with the Cybertruck, but it also excels on easy terrain, such as shown above. It really smooths out the ride and makes travel on bad roads fun and comfortable. Tesla really hit it out of the park with the Cybertruck in terms of off-road capability, ease of driving, and comfort.

Totally agree! Was out with a purpose built tacoma and 4 runner and other than going a little slower because i didnt want to break anything, I did all they could. My only annoyance is the rear wheel fairings, those are now broken lol. I wish they were easily removable

That hugs... I see now that you removed the fronts. Owner's manual doesn't tell you how to remove the rear fairing...

But does tell you have to install mudflaps...

Tesla doesn't have either fairing installed here...

Cybertruck at Hell's Gate (youtube.com)

Removing the whole rocker panel seems like a big miss. Like the front and rear wheel teams weren't talking... Service manual has it as two steps... eek!

Yes. I am just surfing the internet waiting for my Beast.... Grrr

Cut him some slack. I should have... He removed the front fairings and is ordering sliders... I bet we see more in the future... and would have removed the rear fairings likely but I can't seem to find the directions anywhere to do that!!!

Grrr... Where's me Beast????

curious what you qualify as off roading? There definitely wasnt a road there, and 12-16inch steps that were climbed multiple times would argue yes, i was offroad??
