Wheel and tire discussion: what is really the difference?

I am trying to figure out the real difference with the cyber wheels/all terrain tires and Core wheels and all season tires.

how different are the actual wheels?

are most of the range differences attributable to the wheel or tire choices?

can you change the tires on the cyber wheels to the all seasons later and add the 20 miles of range?

how different is the ride feel and noise for regular driving?

any help would be appreciated as I need to make a decision today.

Assuming weight of rims and aero roughly comparable given same size and can have aero covers then tires will have biggest impact on range and you will see an increase going from offroadish to streetish tires

im getting the offroadsetup with truck and will get aftermarket rims and more street orientated tires when more options come out….then i have winter &offroad / summer /towing setup.

I know with the all terrain tires your speed is limited to 85 mph and in TACC mode it won’t go above 79 mph. I would believe the road noise would be less with all season tires plus increase range and no speed mph limiter.

This is not true.

There is not an 85 MPH limit on AT Tires. It's ~ 114MPH top speed governed on AWD. I think it's 130 on the Beast.

Unfortunately, on my Dual motor Cybertruck central control screen it says the limit is 85mph for safety reasons I believe. I presume that is because of the AT tires. Otherwise why would that have that notification on the central control screen. I guess you don’t see that notification on your screen. I know what the Dual motor Cybertruck is rated at top speed.

Are you seeing this only when in TACC? If not, do you have valet mode enabled? With Valet mode you can set the maximum speed.

I have the AWD and top speed is 112mph. Only restricted to 85 if someone has purposely turned on the speed limit option via the app.
