Has anyone else used Extract Mode a few times and noticed that the time it takes to get to full height varies significantly? The first time I did it took about 1 minute. The second time took more than 10 minutes to fully raise. I don't know what factors would have affected this. Both were done on the same day in roughly the same conditions. Just curious what others experiences are.

I'm sure that current height, current tank pressure, current temperature and pump temperature are all variables.

What were your envronments?

Both desert in AZ. One at about 2:30pm, the second at about 4:30pm. Second was about 1500' higher elevation and slightly cooler temp. Although the truck had been driving for a while at that point.

I understand some variation, but 1 minute to over 10 minutes seems like a lot.

If you had been driving a lot, it would be quite possible that the tank was nearly empty.
I'm going to guess that you didn't notice the pump running in either case. Don't forget that most of the heights have maximum speeds for after which the truck will lower the height. It also has auto-adjust, that may have impacted the reserve as well.

I've noticed if you're not on flat ground, it seems to take longer. The last time the rear was a foot higher than the front, it got up there quickly, but kept raising the rear...

The pump was recovering from being used in the drive.
