Sharkhide metal protectant - another product to deal with fingerprints

I came across this video on sharkhide product that is meant to protect metals. I have seen it used in the boating industry. This guy covers the application on the Cybertruck.

Interesting. I’ll definitely bring this up to Coleton when I talk to him (my truck was the one in the Out of Spec video done with Protectaclear). But it still requires a technique to put it on evenly. I checked out other sharkhide videos and people complain about streaks and other non-perfect things). It’s all technique to getting a smooth and good looking appearance. DIY Metal is not perfect, nor Protectoclear. Like with Protectoclear I like that different layers meld into each other.

Looks like a similar product to Protectaclear. Based on this limited video, maybe it's a little thinner.

It sounds like removal might be a bit easier.

For $75 a quart on the Sharkhide siteI would give this a try before considering ProtectaClear. It also appears to be a lot more forgiving during the application process.
