I hope this works better than some other metal coatings, they are a Mother to work with. But if you watch the video that is posted, it still leaves fingerprints. Yes, maybe they remove easier, but there are still fingerprints. But I get the same results with Sprayway and there is no coating on it. Just an observation.

So how does Sprayaway compare to Windex for removing or preventing fingerprints?

I've read about cleaning with Barkeepers friend and then using Windex (with Ammonia) to neutralize the acid. If Sprayaway is Ammonia free, is it not effective for that purpose?

Sprayway leaves no streaks. Spray on, wipe it, then just give it a light buff. In my journey to find the easiest way to remove fingerprints, that is what I believe to be the best. Sprayway doesn’t prevent fingerprints, it just is a way to remove them quick and easy.

Read up on it. To remove it requires Lacquer Thinner. Which means that you have to be extremely careful around plastics. Once again, let you know after I get it and test it out.
Its not worth it to me... after 6 months you wont care about fingerprints and it will have a nice patina. I'll just wash it for the big fancy date nights with my wife... Its been a huge turn on for her :)

A friend asked me if we have done it in the truck yet and if he can borrow it.

I prefer Sprayaway for its bug removing properties compared to other cleaners. I spray it on, give it a minute to soak and then wipe it up. Its gets a lot of bugs off on that first pass.

It has been holding up really well. No fingerprints and it’s super easy to wash. We did use a brush and the dirt and sand left small scratches in the finish. I believe that would have happened to the stainless steel too, so I’m really glad to have the shark hide on there. All it will need is another application and any scratches will be gone. We have switched to using a microfiber mop for washing and that has eliminated anymore scratches.
