They said they hope to hit a run rate of 2500 per week by the end of the year, which would be 130,000 per year. If they keep accelerating the ramp beyond that, maybe out put close to 200K next year (somewhere they said capacity would be 250k when fully ramped) This year looking in the neighborhood of 50K by the end of the year. So, optimistically we are looking at 250k by the end of 2025, probably all dual and cyberbeast. With 2 million reservation holders question becomes what is the conversion rate. If the number is conservatively 500k actually plan on taking orders (I think it is more than that) it will take at least until 2026 maybe even 2027 or 2028 to get through them all. Maybe they go sort of in order to fulfill reservations, although probably it’s more regionally distributed. Maybe it’s random.
The early reservation holders, all 2M of them, are still in a minority.

The more Cybertrucks Tesla sells, the higher the demand for the Cybertruck from those that did not reserve. Even hardcore EV haters are coming around and seeing how amazing of a product the Cybertruck is.

Therefore, I maintain that if you were to make a reservation today, you are unlikely to get yours until 2027 at the earliest. This assumes that Tesla makes 125K Cybertrucks per year. If Tesla doubles the line and increases production to 250K/year, then my assumption is no longer valid.

It all depends on how sustained the ordering is going to be.
The Model Y is a relatively small drop in the number of pickup sales. Can Tesla repeat the Model Y sales in the pickup market.?
At this point, I think that Tesla is hedging their bet and saying that they won't compete at this point.
If the Cybertruck is going to match Model Y sales, Tesla will need 16x the current amount of factory production.

Maybe that's what some of these other "on hold" factories are for? Possible demand?

Let's not forget when Elon felt shunned by Disney and they took it out of the Tesla apps. Does passing on an order mean you've shunned Tesla? Better hope people skipping the FS don't get the Disney treatment.
This is a myth. They never removed it from the system.

I didn't see it the last I looked.
Elon/Tesla hid it for those who didn't use it, but it's still there. You have to go to disneyplus website in the browser and it will load.

That's a slightly different thing.

Or asking the question a little differently, what's the difference between Netflix in the theater vs the web site?

One is an application, one is a website. The Disney Plus app is still there, it was just hidden due to the dispute "for those who don't want to see Disney on their car" as Whole Mars said, once you go to the disney plus website, the app re-appears.

The app can go full screen, until recently the browser couldn't. Some say the app has higher quality sound as well, but I can't say for sure.

You just have to request it specifically, it's not on the recent list for anyone who hasn't used it recently.

Only some apps are on that list anyhow, and it's not all of them.

It's clearly something political that Elon has done, which has decreased the value of the company. Very frustrating.

So they did remove it. You can get it back.

It's not removed. It's just not on the default list.

Removed would mean you couldn't run it at all.

Crissa,

Mine used to appear on the Theater app. It is no longer there.

Isn't that called "removed"

Or are you suggesting that if you don't watch anything on the Theater app, that they all disappear?

As I've said all along, the ICON was removed.

If it were removed, it wouldn't be available at all.
