If a Quad "was never promised", how was I able to reserve one? Only about 2,000 people reserved a Quad before Tesla cut it off. Changing my reservation from a dual to a Quad caused a reset in my RN. Tesla says they will give me a Quad in February 2025. You and I will wait and see if Tesla can keep that promise. Honestly, I am not holding my breath. Chevy will probably bring out an eSilverado with 20,000 lbs. towing and 450 miles of range before Elon give me what he promised. Note. Chevy currently has the WT4 and RST out with 440 miles of range, as tested.

Over the years, I have learned Elon says one thing and then, later, contradicts it.
Art,

You have said on here several times that you reserved a quad motor Cybertruck, but then when we ask for proof (screenshot), you sent us nothing. At no time was anyone allowed to reserve a quad motor. If you have proof (to include that "Tesla said they will give you a quad in February 2025"), please do share.

The only mention of a quad motor was Elon's tweet in Dec of 2021. So you are saying you reserved a quad motor before Elon even mentioned it?

I will go back on my words if you provide any proof, but this isn't the first time that the forum questioned you about reserving a quad motor CT.

Here in Reno, they are installing the Range Extender. I looked at a CT on the showroom floor to see how much room was lost. The RE sort of lies flat near the divider wall. I thought all FS included the RE?
Huh? The range extender hasn't even been released yet to install in vehicles. It is estimated late this year to be released according to Tesla's website. Where are you getting your information?

Art: Reserved a Quad motor... Cybertruck on display to purchase if anyone wants it now in Reno...

Maybe Art is in the wrong forums? Maybe he confused this one with Rivian.

Well if you and Art reserved a quad motor, then I reserved one with 10 motors! Ha! I would prove it but you know I just can't seem to find the email, darn the luck. ?‍♂

Edit: I also have three range extenders hooked up filling up the whole vault. I get like 700 miles on a charge. :poop:

I know you were sarcastic, especially with the X-files photo reference. lol. I just wanted to share to everyone that I have a 10X motor Cybertruck but lost all proof. ;)

I did post proof - my RN listing. Like I said, come next February, we will see if there is a Quad or if it was more Elon hot air. I got a Tesla email about the Quad and immediately changed my reservation, which reset my RN from 2019. The ability to reserve a Quad was only available for a few days. Maybe just two? Only about 2,000 got the chance to Quad up. The fact is my listing says Quad. Note the RN date is NOT 2019.

Are you sure the FS does not include the RE? I read a review that said it did.

Umm, the "proof" you posted is just data being pulled off of the reservation spreadsheet that YOU (most of us) filled out. The estimated delivery date is not a date that Tesla gave you. You can tell with the whole "msg from" or "msg to" Admin.

You don't have anything official from Tesla?

Do you have the Range Extender?
The S is better than the X? Missed that dig ! Which Tesla is better has a lot to do with the intended use. For me, the S is worthless. I am a Land Surveyor and need room for my instrument, legs and rods. The X has that. Granted the S is faster, but my plain X has all the power I can use. Heck! My daughter's Y has more than enough power. The X has the most interior room of any Tesla vehicle and I need that.

The range extender is something you have to put a deposit on once you go through the order configuration process, and since all orders have been FS thus far, no you don't get the RE without reserving it.... plus who knows when/if it will actually be released and installed. "Late 2024" is all we know.

You're simply full of shit, totally transparent, I'm embarassed for you. There has never been a quad motor CyberTruck or any way to reserve one.

Tesla: "To maintain service life, the battery pack should be stored at a state of charge (SOC) of 15 to 50%."
Country flag
Love that graphic you posted showing 500+ miles of range for the Tri, on reveal. See that guy in the middle? Liar, liar, liar ...
The battery pack is only half full, so 500 miles is clearly part of the design.

For whatever reason - market analysis, cost, 4680 limitation - they decided to go with lower capacity.

Ah, no. All I did was enter my RN is the search box and it returned what I posted. The data in the spreadsheet is taken from Tesla data. I did not enter anything into the spreadsheet itself. I don't think you can because that would corrupt the data. Don't doubt me until February 2025. You guys all claim to have RN's. Where is your proof? I think I am arguing with a bunch of single motor cheaps.
