I had the same question and yes you can get your final payment back. I hesitated until 5 mins before accepting it. Love it. Buyers remorse: absolutely none. You only read about the negative stuff here, because everyone enjoying the truck don't bother to post! Nicest driving vehicle ever (I have owned MY, M6, M4, etc.)! Nothing negative to say about it, except delivery: they didn't bother cleaning it at all. But it was fun to do myself.
Same!

Yeah, those damn liberals and their electric vehicle hate!
well... it is actually amazing how 180 all woke media went on EVs due to their hate for EM projected on Tesla. now every day there is a new article from woke media about how hybrid is the way to go now! all those morons from mashable, jalopnic, gizmodo, bloomberg, etc. especially it is funny when some outsourced moron from india who've never seen CT, and never will get near it, let alone afford it - still has an opinion how doomed the CT is!

Don't listen to the FUD that the liberal mainstream media is spreading in hopes of getting clicks.

Take delivery of your apocalypse ready Cybertruck and enjoy it!!!
Can you please cut the crap with the "liberal" mainstream media statement. It is ALL mainstream media. I don't give a damn about 'your' politics, so please try harder to keep it to yourself.

I will add, and some may differ, that the CT although priced higher than originally announced is rather a bargain for all you are getting. $100k is expensive but at the same time quite a bargain if you compare it to a cayenne turbo that retails at $140k.

Thanks. I am leaning towards getting it. I got better towing coverage up to 100 miles just in case. I was already planning on keeping our other Teslas, so I’ll have backup options if I ever have an issue. There’s a lot of pros, cons and unknowns. I was set to pick it up on 4/17. If this delay in delivery is prolonged and another issue arises, I can always change my mind. I doubt I will though.

Right now, I’m all set to accept delivery. I’ve paid, and my truck is waiting for the pedal fix. Tesla revoked my delivery date due to the pedal issue. That’s how close to delivery it is. I am starting to second guess my decision to get an early model CT. I am about 100 miles from the closest SC and I keep seeing issues on this forum and elsewhere. Would it be possible to get a refund (minus the non-refundable fees) and just drive an X for a few years? I don’t care if I lose my place in line and have to place another order. I am starting to think I would prefer a refund. Sure it would be fun, but I am having a lot of second thoughts.
Go hang out at the SC and go around telling them you can’t wait to flip it. Tell them you already have a buyer for it and you are gonna make bank flipping it. Then see if it magically gets cancelled with a full refund ?

I was in the same situation a few weeks ago. Had delivery scheduled for 4/13 and the appointment was canceled the night before for the recall.. money had left the bank and I was considering canceling due to fear of getting a lemon and overall frustration. I told myself, I waited over 4years for this, what are 2 more weeks.

I received it last Tuesday and already over 500miles of pure joy. Glad I didn't cancel

Opinion: 2 months and over 4k miles later, we love it, this is an incredibly great truck. I got back in my F150 and put it up for sale immediately. The magic of this truck is in the combined experience. The longer you drive it the more you grow into its feature set.
If you don't need a truck then get the X. We do truck stuff, and car stuff, I need the swiss army knife! No reliability issues so far. Road trips have been great, love the vault, steering, comfort, handling, power, sound system, heating cooling, I can go on and on. Good luck to the competition.

Yes it has its weak points but what the reviews don't convey is when the honeymoon is over, like actually living with the truck. Maybe Kyle from out of spec will do a long term review. But even then, his objectives are to review capabilities.

For us regular people we value 4 wheel steering with steer by wire alot because we need to maneuver a full size truck in parking lots alot. The vault keeps our junk safe and opens and closes quickly, we use it alot. The big tires on air suspension absorb pot holes really well, we drive over a lot of pot holes. See the "a lot" pattern, I'm sure none of this is news.

I had last minute doubts too and maybe if we had reliability issues I would be telling you to get your money back and run. Question: If you can live with the X then do really need a truck?

Hope this helps
