So, I towed over 200 miles round trip, started with 315 miles at 100% charge. Brought my generator with Wall charger just in case. Anyone familiar with the area will know it's not easy on any towing vehicle. North Bay across the Bay to Peninsula then south over Hwy 17 to Santa Cruz, CA up the coast to Half Moon Bay, CA over 92 and at mile 160 I stopped to charge. Had 20 miles left on range indicator. Charged to 80% in 30 minutes and finished trip back home. I drove 58 to 60 miles per hour cruise control on most of the time. Windy on coast, temps ranged from 107 to 71. I stopped 7 times to work along the way. Over all I drove 7 hrs with 7 stops. I'm pleased. Planning a trip to Tillamook OR and back down the coast for a 9 day trip. Chargers along the way will be close enough the 160 mile range with 20 mile buffer will be fine. Also, bringing the 12 k generator with wall charger just in case. Love this truck!!

Have you tested charging the CT off that 12kw generator? Does it work ok?

I think I can see 120v plugs on the generator, does it have 240v output as well?

What kw input are you getting into the truck?

Yes. In pic I think you can see the 1450 plug connected to the Tesla Wall Charger on generator. It works great. 40amp output max for truck. More than that it overpower alarms and shutdown. Takes about 7 hrs to fully charge. Just like at home.
