USB-A is also USB.

Alcantra is vegan leather
not all vegan leathers are alcantra

And herein we learn about encapsulating definitions. Perhaps we need Venn diagrams.

It's easy to get caught up with all these synonyms if you've only encountered them on a cursory level - or sometimes when you're too used to rigid definitions from a documented spec, science, industry, or just... practice.

The english language is terrible when it comes to being specific, especially when people start being literally figurative.

I am confused about charging at camp grounds. I can’t get my mobile charger to even light up when I use a 50 amp extension cord from the wall plug to the charger.
Any ideas about that?
Can I use a 30 amp plug adapter to step up to a 50 amp plug on the mobile adaptor?

I have watched a lot of videos about how the neutral and ground need to be bonded on 240 volt outlets … could that be the problem?

Is there actually power?
Is there a wiring fault?

I carry a tester when dealing with dubious outlets.

Uhh... You can get a 30a plug for the Mobile Connector.

It should be obvious why you shouldn't 'step up' to a higher amperage load. I know sometimes you have to do what you need to, and a Tesla can be instructed to draw less on a circuit than the outlet indicates, but be very careful not to exceed the circuit rating.

The point about pairing the key cards is good. You can pair a card if you have an already paired card. You can pair a card from a paired phone as well

I’m blind- yep. Found it.
I would recommend that if you plan to use that USB port, you plug in a cable and leave it plugged in: It is really tough to find that port by feel when you need to plug something in while you are driving.

Good idea. This is exactly what I did. Just a short cord does the trick. I leave it there and routed it out of the way.

Plugging the glovebox USB drive in for sentry mode also requires some dexterity.
You said it! I don't have large hands but they are about the maximum size possible to get that plugged in without breaking the glove box or a finger!
