More recently he said the demand was so strong that they anticipated selling only FS through towards the end of this year.

Yeah, I feel the same way. 100 Cybertrucks would cost $10M, at a minimum. With that much money, he could get a Cybertruck right now quite easily. I think he speaking gibberish and boosting up his finances.

I was correcting misinformation about official company guidance.

Yes, forward looking statements are not always correct. Tesla will start selling non-Foundation series the minute they run out of customers for the higher price. But given how good the Cybertruck is turning out to be, I suspect Elon knows what he was talking about. Distrust him at your own risk.

There is an old saying by people that learned the hard way, "Don't bet against Elon Musk". He's not always right, but he's right more than his detractors. A lot more.
