650 bricks 6lbs each about 4000lbs and the Cybertruck handled it like a Beast. Just a guy and his friends doing truck things (fully fitted for truck work as suggested by the Internet) 2500lbs is only manufactures suggested weight limit ?

We didn’t take ? but yes it self leveled and brought drive height to about 10” clearance insane cruises at 65 np ?

Rear axle was overloaded by over 2,500 pounds. GAWR is 5,247.
Tires were overloaded by nearly 1,000 pounds. Their max capacity is 6,830 when aired up to 65 psi.

Front axle only had 300 pounds of payload on it.

Just because you can, just because it may do it, doesn't mean you should do it.

That's why I see so many broken axles or wheels on the road.

And the original Cybertruck demo is a great example of it.
They hit the window with the ball, and it didn't crack in testing.
Then they tried it a number of times and the window didn't crack.
They then did it on stage and holy crap, it cracked.

Postmortem indicated that each time they did it, microscopic cracks were being generated.

How many may you have created in the rear-end?

Weight limits have their reasons.

Postmortem? Was that discussed in a later update? Last I heard, the sledgehammer cracked it.

Yup. Sledgehammer impact on door cracked base of glass, which is why steel ball didn’t bounce off. Should have done steel ball on window, *then* sledgehammer the door. Next time …

Yep, It would have been much better if there was 400 lbs. of bricks in the frunk. I also would have stacked the bricks in a descending level front to back to get more weight forward. And I hope they did air up to 65 lbs.

Overloading a truck is more about doing it right than following the limits to a "T".

How did the bed surface hold up after carrying a load like that?

I'd love to see photos after they have been washed and died.
I've seen almost new CTs with scratches on the plastic covers on either side of the tonneau cover.

Nice! That whole area is filled with hard core truck guys doing real truck stuff. I’m glad Cybertruck is the new kid in the town there doing real truck things. I hope we see more Cybertrucks in Nor-Cal. ?

Until you get in a wreck, and the load is exceeded the vehicle rating and you’re at fault.

I’ve seen many cases, dozens, through the years where a person was injured, mutilated or killed, due to overloaded vehicles and/or trailers, or trailers being too heavy for the vehicle’s rating.
Every time, that vehicle operator was at fault. Some, went to prison.
And not one was a semi. All passenger vehicles.
