Owner didn't have Sentry on, but was alerted on their Ring camera. Person was caught apparently.

is Ohio home to that many incredibly stupid people? I thought that was mostly California and Texas

Wish they would let the owner hit the perp with a hammer as hard as he likes as many times as he hit the truck as retribution, to be frank. I’m not a fan of violence but my tolerance for this type of behavior is zero and people wouldn’t risk doing it if the punishments were more severe. Even idiots judge risk vs reward and would be able to understand “what you did to the vehicle the vehicle owner will be doing to your body if you are caught.”

Clearly current practices of government retribution are not deterrant enough. Open to other suggestions but this is happening far too often. I would be interested to get follow up on what the court does with the perp.

Cheers

To the perpetrator: "So, you hate Elon and wanted to show it by damaging my truck? Now, watch as you spend your money replacing all my windows which is, in effect, you giving your money to Elon. Weird way to punish him." See you in 5 to 10...

The difference between California (my location) and Ohio is not in presence of idiotic people, but in the fact that the police actually arrested someone for a crime - anything below murder is a low priority issue for crime enforcement in CA

Just reading about this makes my blood boil. I would most likely end up in jail of I see anything like this happen to me as I get alerts if there is any movements around my truck proximity. It would be a really bad thing for me and my bad decision making as I protect my assets at all cost. ?

You are posting Bullshit & dis-information.

People get arrested for lower crimes, even non-violent ones.
