What.......no annoying jingle coming down the road?
Oh... Lemme turn it up then.

*** CUPS HANDS AROUND MOUTH AND YELLS ***

Free ice cream, MF'ers! C'mon, and get it! I said "free" dammit. . .

I can be honest with myself. I'm not a model employee.

Crazy to keep seeing all these urban legend prototypes everywhere with no production, yes we all know Tesla wants to get the CT right but how much better can it be? GMC EV designed and produced under two years a real drivable, deliverable product that we can order today and know when we will receive on tentative date. But we are still teased every few month and in the dark with the CT?! My opinion, Tesla is putting off the inevitable of a future negative cash flow of the public belief of Tesla honoring all those orders at original price. So similar to the $20k-$30k Rivian loses every time their truck rolls off the assembly into the hands of consumer. Speculate, a three year plan of selling Model Y’s and stalling CT release is a good plan to keep positive cash flow when the CT does finally pop out of the rabbit hole.

I remember when the ice cream truck came into our Motor Pool at Fort Benning, Ga. grown soldiers would run out of the buildings to get their ice cream.
That annoying jingle was just as conditioning as Pavlov's bell.
when I was pay office overseas, we played it to let the Marines know it was time to get paid.....

Tesla had delays getting the machines they needed to scale up battery production, so they couldn't deliver more. So it also didn't make sense to finalize the last bits of design until they could be sure when they'd begin production. Ordering parts only for them to come in when you're not ready for them - or worse, be out of date once you are - doesn't make sense. So of course they don't have production models sitting around.

Otherwise you end up like Rivian with an EV designed for 2016 having trouble being made in 2022.

All the others are just derivates of typical vehicles. The CT is a new idea with innovation at every element. The development of all the interfaces and modules that need to be tweaked to fit and function takes time. Now am I hoping to get it sooner than later, totally.

Ha! If someone decides to make an ice cream truck out of a cybertruck, write me, I will contribute to the idea personally. And seriously, an ice cream truck like that would get a lot of PR attention.

I have been in the ice cream business for over 5 years scoopaholic.com, so I am waiting for the author of the idea :)
