Can’t make it to my delivery day what do I do?

I just got notifying. My cyber truck will be available beginning of next week, but they are only giving me two days to schedule for delivery. I am out of town and won’t be back for another two weeks. Did anybody ever run into this problem? What options do I have? I really don’t want to miss out on getting the beast.

I called and spoke with the SC where I’m taking delivery and explained the situation. They are able to open up additional days for you. I have heard that some refuse to hold it but luckily mine was willing to hold it for almost a month.

Pay with a credit card, that way you can dispute charges if you don’t take delivery. Or tell your SC I will happily take delivery of it ?

Long shot, but maybe Could try your luck and pick the furthest day out, and then tomorrow reschedule for the next further date out, rinse and repeat until you able.

This happened to me. I unexpectedly got a Cyberbeast VIN June 27 and I had to take delivery no later than June 30 since it was end of quarter for Tesla. I was OCONUS and couldn’t take delivery. I tried to get them to hold it but they wouldn’t. So I put my order on hold for a week until I got back. I just got a new VIN this week on Tuesday and am taking delivery Saturday. I noticed on this forum that others were successful getting them to wait through the end of the quarter but my SC wouldn’t. I am in Houston, Texas.

Thank you so much! May I ask how you got them to put it on hold? It’s almost impossible to reach someone at the service center.

I did it mostly through text messages. I replied to their delivery scheduling text saying I could not take delivery and they suggested putting my order on a temporary hold. I was able to get them on the phone once to clarify how the hold works. I called the local number for the SC and navigated the phone menu until it offered to speak to a rep.
