There is a perfect spot on both sides of the frunk for an integrated cup holder, one on each side.
The smooth section in the photo.

I went looking for one to use with the Tesla Frunk cargo net L-track but couldn't find one. I also sent mail to someone that makes 'normal' L-track cup holders as I had ordered a couple for the bed L-track and they are great, but they never responded about vertical L-track versions. Having Tesla put one on the frunk fascia would be a natural solution.

Good idea but the problem would be someone leaving an item in there and then the frunk closing in its own. While it will sense it on the first few tries we have all seen the videos where it increases pressure with each following attempt. Not sure if something would eventually get damaged.

now an attachment to go on the L-track that allows an offset holder, so it’s closer to the side edge … that would be awesome.

They might be coming in some form, either as an iterative change in production, or as another accessory in the shop.

Look at what’s been added to the shop already (jump seats, tailgate shield, frunk net, pet liner, mud flaps).

I have 2020 MYLR’s and they added stuff all the time as production progressed, some of these came in the first year or so:

- Icons on the interior door release buttons
- Amber rear turn signals
- Heated steering wheel
- Laminated glass (first fronts, then rears)
- Rear package shelf/hatch area cover
- Updated center console
- HEPA filter (also offered as a retrofit)

It’s a good bet there will be many such changes to the CT. Hopefully most of them can be retrofitted easily so we FS folks don’t feel left out, haha!!
