yep. I checked all of this, software is v12 2024.20.9. It says unavailable when i tap the brake, and asks me to select a direction.Been working here. Does it not ask you to tap the brake? Do you have it enabled in the menu? What software?
From the manual:
Cybertruck automatically selects a drive mode when:
• Auto Shift out of Park is enabled.
• Cybertruck is in Park.
• The driver's seat belt is fastened.
• The brake pedal is pressed.
• All doors and trunks are closed.
• The drive mode selector on the overhead console is not activated (see Shift Using the Overhead Console on page 73).
• The cameras are free of obstructions (see Cameras on page 27) and Cybertruck has enough input to make a selection.
You do have to enable the feature on one of the menus. I think it’s Pedals and Steering, then Auto Shift out of Parkyep. I checked all of this, software is v12 2024.20.9. It says unavailable when i tap the brake, and asks me to select a direction.
Ive tried rebooting for other reasons. Initially it said camera calibration.. maybe ill try to recalibrateStrange it was definitely working with 2024.20.9 on mine. Only thing I can think of is try recalibrating the cameras... longshot I know. I assume you have already rebooted (two button reboot). Does your TACC work?
I normally have my foot on the brake when I buckle the seat belt and have to take my foot off and re-tap the brake to put it in gear.

That was my next question cause for some it takes several hundred miles for cameras to calibrate (TACC and shift out of park both require calibration to be complete).Does TACC work?
