I am on 2024.20.200 and don’t recall seeing calibration yet!
The calibration should occur within minutes of you driving the truck away from your service center. The SC staff should have explained and prepared you for it.

The cameras need calibration regardless of what software your truck is on. I picked up mine in March and it was calibrating on the way to pick up my son from school after delivery.

Every brand new Tesla has to go through it.

I am taken back on people that post what software revision they are at and that it NEVER matches with what I’m running. You would think that when they release a new software revision, it would go out to all CT’s and keep everyone at the same level. I’ve been on V12 (2024, 20.9) seems like forever and just got an update yesterday for V12 (2024, 26.6), but have heard folks talking about being on 26.6 for many weeks, maybe months. Anyone know why software updates seem to be so disjoint? (BTW, I get that newly delivered vehicles would be different)

I remember it on my S and Y. Just don't recall seeing it but I was very likely distracted with the steer-by-wire, rear view on monitor. Was a trip!

Got the windows tinted this morning.

FYI

This tint shop whom I used to do my S and Y will NOT do Cybertruck windshields. Say's they crack in a "U" shape. Has anyone ever heard of that? The wrap shop up the road does them no problem so wondering where they got that from? I asked the kid there if it happened to them while tinting, he said no so wth? I'd like to have had the windshield done as well.

The deploy the software updates based on regions. I think it has to do with system bandwidth.

People always question about overloading the servers, etc, but we all get the holiday updates and recall updates typically with in a small window (3-4 days), so I don't think that's the case.

One of the other owners mentioned a shop telling them they couldn’t do his windshield because of possible damage but there has been many, including myself, that have had it done. I’d keep looking. It’s not easy to tint but it can be done.

Yeah, the wrap shop does them no problem. They charge $968 if I recall for the Windshield alone, it takes like 4 guys. haha! Man!
