Standing Ovation for CyberBeast!

Picked up mt CyberBeast Tuesday, drove to work on Wednesday morning. Our office has its large windows next to parking lot. We have 125+ employees. But not all employees can see the parking lot. My direct co-workers knew I'd be driving in with my shiny new toy. When I walked into my area, a bunch of people were standing up and clapping, congratulating me and cheering! It was way cool!

I yelled out and said it was a wonderful vehicle and very fast!

The rest of the day, people came by and congratulating me, asked questions, and made 100% positive comments. I told them I would take ALL of them for a ride sooner or later.

Probably why I got so many positive comments, is that I work for a company that manufactures Lithium Battery Packs. And there are over a dozen co-workers that have EV's.

We have many chargers (6 kw) and its free to recharge.

I design Lithium battery packs.

BTW, I love everything about my CB. Its my second EV, my first Tesla.

I've been going to the Woodward Dream Cruise ~ spectators giving it mostly thumbs up, but will say the old "union" car guys aren't happy with it....

Yea, and I love the Smart car too. It handles like a go-cart. Can turn in a very small turning radius of 23'. Easy to park. Its a good daily driver.

Ironically, even though I work at a battery pack company, my Smart has a problem with the battery (it won't charge). I have to take it to Cleveland to get it fixed (I'm in Detroit area). There is no Mercedes dealers in my area that can repair it (Smart is made by Mercedes).

And you could ask the same question to Elon Musk. If you research his "hard times" where Tesla almost went bankrupt, you will find out that he engineered the first Smart car EV and got a big contract that saved Tesla.

This looks like one of those projects those goes on for 15 years. I always stand behind the pioneers though. Good luck!

I was considering the new 500e but frankly the Model 3 is a better deal.
