Update: So I got the adapter. With a little bit pushing it goes all the way into the Tesla charging port. Now there is a slight amount of interference at the very bottom left where it contacts the wheel fairing. Do I think this makes a difference? No. There is probably more force put on the plug from the charging cable than the plug/fairing interference. I finally got to try out the adapter today at a ChargePoint station. It works!!! I was only pulling 70kw but I was at about 65% state of charge already. I’m gonna have to go back when I’m low on battery.

I think someone posted about this adapter but I can’t find the thread. Anyone get this and try it out? With a little nudging it does fit (if a little shaving could be done it would be perfect). I’m tempted to go try it out today. It’s good to have options!

Please report back your findings. You may want to keep an extra eye on it during charging to ensure it doesn't melt like some of the other adapter catastrophies.
This is my fear. Waiting for others to test first ?

I’ll do it shortly. Can anyone confirm that the power ratings are ok for the truck?

Ok, I posted an update to the original thread. The adapter works! It has a small amount of resistance going in but not anymore force of plugging in with a heavy charging cable like the CCS has or stretching a short cable of a Tesla charger.

Thank you!! I ordered it as well. I tried using a Tesla to Tesla extension cord with another adapter, but the truck wouldn't charge.. Thanks for the info!

Yup, it is tight in that one corner. But it still goes in with a little pressure. But as I was charging I think there is more force applied from the charging cable. That cable is big and thick, unlike Tesla supercharger cables.

Ok so last night I got out my trusty Dremel Tool and shaved a little off of the corner. Perfection was achieved in less than 5 minutes. The outer covering must be pretty thick because I never went through. Now it is perfect and the adapter slips right into the charging port.

I just ordered a different model of CCS adapter and plan on dremelling it off as well. I will report back with my findings. I pull a trailer and the EA CCS stations are spaced much better than Superchargers on my route for a couple of stops.

Any links / solutions to the CCS2 (EU type) to NACS for CT? So far I had seen only the CCS2 to NACS + EVJECT (as existing CCS2 to NACS are to short / does not reach the port in CT.
I have heard that EVJECT had been sued by TESLA for "temperature issues" so I am not sure if it is still on sale (also quite costly solution)
