Anyone thinking of a product to assist with being able to reach things in the bed of the truck from the side of the truck? Because of the design, I can't quite reach over the side to grab something as simple as a gym bag even in entry mode and I am 6' 1". Maybe a concealed step in front of the rear tires? idk.

On Cybertruck, in order to bypass some of sail panel, might need to place side step closer to rear wheel well.
Will lose some ground clearance.

Not sure it can be mounted to Cybertruck side since Cybertruck does not have ladder type frame rails like most ICE full-size pickups.

RealTruck AMP Research BedStep2
features an innovative retractable design. Whenever you require bed access, kick the step downwards to deploy it. When finished, give the step another nudge upwards and watch it retract beneath your pickup's bed.

Since you’re over 6 feet, are you able to easily step on the tire for leverage?
This is one of the issues I have with the CT. I really miss not having a solid bed rail to grab while stepping into the bed from the side. Just something I'm so used to doing. That and no roof handles:(

Reaching across the top of a pickup bed to place or retrieve an item is second nature to a lot of us. Because the Cybertruck's design largely precludes that, I shifted gears and installed the accessory Vault Divider just in front of the hinge of the under-vault area. That gives me several feet of easily accessible bed storage area reachable from the rear.

Enough for most miscellaneous things. And when more space is needed, the Vault Divider comes out in about ten seconds.

I actually find this way of operating easier and faster than my decades-old practice of lifting stuff over the side and placing it near the cab. Because frequently that stuff would then need to be tied down. Limiting the bed space of the CT to just a few square feet largely limits the need to do that.

This is exactly my solution. Mostly I just use the last foot and a half so I got the divider to keep it all from sliding everywhere and it’s just great.

This is part of my logic in getting the extender to occupy that space.
