had that on my tailgate, a quick iron-x treatment took it right off. Assuming it's the same thing, should work for you. Iron-x, rinse. Don't rinse with hard water, it'll leave calcium marks.

"It's simply a different purchase and delivery model from classic dealers."

So you simply get a faulty car? And that's a benefit?
What makes it "faulty"?

Dirty isn't faulty.
Let's roll back to the railroad dust and the rusting that was seen early on. Nothing was faulty.

I just got my new CT yesterday; it was raining at the dealer, and I didn't notice it.
Has anybody seen anything like this? I tried to wash it with Dawn, but it didn't do anything.
I think you missed an opportunity?

OK, a nasty stain isn't a fault.

I have a couple of these "smoke" stains on my truck and have tried soft BKF as well as Adam's iron remover and neither of them have done anything to it.

Are there any other recommendations for removing?

I'm contemplating ceramic coating the truck due to how aggressively the stainless is attacked by the winter conditions here but would like to have all of these marks on the panels completely removed first if possible.
