I actually really love the Sound system in the cybertruck. The stock subwoofer even sounds great. But does anyone else have a problem with rattling? Specifically in the backseat area. I have no loose items and nothing in my truck at all back there. But there is a distinct rattling that I want to somehow secure. Does anyone else have a bad rattle with the subwoofer?

I’m noticing a rattle coming from under the rear seats, specifically the RH subwoofer area. My CT is only 2 weeks old and I haven’t cranked up the sound system too loud yet, so I doubt it’s a blown woofer. When I put some pressure on the floor area covering the RH sub, the rattlel goes away. I believe this is just a by-product of ported subs and how they vibrate the entire car body as opposed to an enclosed sub. I can get mobile service to change out the RH sub to see if it fixes the issue, but there are enough CT owners complaining about this that I think it’s just an engineering issue. I solved the problem by keeping the subwoofer level to 3 as opposed to 4 that I had it at. This isn’t a great fix, but for me, the bass at L3 is good enough. Maybe Tesla will come up with a better solution in the future.

You can definitely tell Tesla doesn't noise dampen a lot of things when you start cranking up the bass. Likely one of those things that will improve over time like it did with the Plaid S.

I can hear the plastic rattle in the doors when I crank it up, only certain frequencies and has to be loud.

Being honest, the CyberTruck's sound system is frankly the best OEM setup I've ever heard. It's a shame they couldn't spend $20 on some foam for the doors (or perhaps better foam, I haven't seen what's in there).

It only happens with certain tracks where there’s deep bass. Most other times it’s not an issue.

I have the same issue and also when you push down on the carpet it stops
I think the issue is how they designed the hardened carpet where it meets the back wall. The cutouts for the rear seat attachment pieces and speaker wires are not cut cleanly, some of the carpet is in direct contact with the plastic/metal and some have space around it. Also, it’s held up by tension only, so it’s bound to rattle a bit with certain deep bass frequencies.

Same issue and the SC said everything is "in spec", per usual. He said to turn the bass down to stop the rattle. I plan to take the carpet out and put some sound dampening mat everywhere.

I had mine in service to look at sub. Invoice says the below and I am not sure what they adhered. I guess I gotta make another hour trip to look at the same thing twice.

Repair Notes: Customer came in for concernsabout a ratle heard coming from the rear rightsubwoofer. Verified the concern. Upon diagnosing, the rear RH subwoofer speaker was found to have separated from its frame. New part is not available.Adhered rear RH subwoofer speaker and tested for proper operation. If future concerns were to arise please schedule a follow upappointment for replacement. Correction: Audio Speakers - 200mm, Woofer, RH, C-Pillar, Audio - Remove and Install

I’m looking into getting some sound dampening done and wanted to clarify a few things. Where exactly would the foam or dampening material be placed? Would this mainly help with reducing outside noise, or is it more for stopping rattling from bass? I want to make sure I tell the installer exactly what I need. Also, which doors or areas would you recommend treating? Let me know your thoughts—”appreciate it!

I haven't looked at myself yet. I am not sure what frame was adhered. I just didn't want anything wrong with the subwoofer itself. They taped a frame to stop the rattling and said it was due to a part rework and I would get the new part at some point. We'll see.
