It started last month and have been progressively getting worse. I’ve tightened the seat’s bolts to the mounting bracket with no help. My assumption is it’s the seat pad that is moving instead of the entire seat, and I need to lose weight. ?

Have you all had this issue?

I have had the issue specifically to the loosing weight part. I was hoping with the faster truck I’d finally be able to get away.

Same here. Surprised about the bad design feedback. It was not happening until very recently for me (car has 5000 miles).

I've been to service 3 times for it and they've said it is what it is and the result of a bad design, and that is would likely be fixed in future revisions.
So they’re not doing anything about it? ?

FWIW, the SC said the same thing about my dash ambient light bar with multiple bright spots.

I have the same issue. Additionally, it feel like the front portion of the seat pad has a hard spot as if the padding is thin. It’s right near the center crease of the seat. Anyone have this feeling? I have a service appointment next week so if they want fix it now, I hope they will in the future once a proper resolution is made.

For me same issue but not stop & go movement, its right to left. It clicks and I feel it , if I do sharp right turn I feel it slides and clicks , then it does on left turn (not right) since its already travelled to right side. I was thinking of posting here, I opened a service request .. mid october ... I put seat covers on and I was thinking Tesla will say oh its because of covers .... its definitely design or loose bolt

Same issue - and Service was able to replicate and order new seat. Lets see if they able to replace it on 9/13.

Same issue. Figured I’d give it a few more months before raising.

I had same issue, service was able to replicate it and will be replacing seat this month.
I may ask for new seat as well. My driver seat also creaks like crazy!! I’m at 5500 miles on my beast. Getting new front drive unit now

I also have the same problem (started noticing it at around maybe 1,000 miles). I could never recreate by shifting around in the seat or trying to shake it around, so it was really puzzling for me. I weigh 150 pounds if that matters.

It does feel like the padding shifts. For me, it's left and right. It happens even with slow turns (like in a parking lot).

I wonder if it's related to the loud interior creaking that I now hear after 3,000 miles. This also happens when I corner.
