I also took delivery in May. Had this issue for the first 2-3 months, it just stopped happening without me doing anything. VIN 7xxx
Hopefully I’ll have that same luck with mine. Doubt it.

I have this issue and it’s on the list for them to look at during a service appointment tomorrow. I anticipate that they will say it’s ok and there’s nothing to do. Which, as long as it’s not a safety issue, it doesn’t bother me that much in the grand scheme of things.
]The things we are just dealing with on this truck are beginning to be comical.

I feel and hear a slight popping or clicking noise around turns in mine. It feels like the bottom part of the seat shifts slightly to the left.

I had service check it out and they told me they couldn’t replicate the issue… sigh.

Still happens. Still annoying.

I feel lucky, only two minor things. The steering wheel was not straight at 0° wheels position. Service Center fixed that in less than an hour. Drivers seat was moving but stopped with me doing anything. Love the truck.

what i realized about Tesla’s production model, is that they do not operate on a “model year” method, they operate an iterative model, very similar to a software company. Tesla is after all a tech company that happens to make robot cars (and soon humanoids) as the hardware that runs their software.

they make CT’s and each of their other vehicles in “batches” so like the RC models were like beta Version 0.5 models, the first models to production were Version 1.0, then they identified enough issues to make a 1.05 model, then the 1.1 model etc, each iteration or “batch” building on the “lessons learned” from the last one.

unfortunately, it leaves early adopters to take on a higher risk of issues, but as they arrive, they can fix them for the later iterations.

i dont think tesla faults anyone for pointing out issues, as they are all things they can and will fix, and if they ultimately have to redesign something major, then they create a v2.0 or whatever.

I also don't get the impression they fault anyone for not wanting to be a tester because this is definitely not the model most car manufactured use.

i think it is important for people to use the service section in the app when there is something that is an issue or perceived issue, that way the system can track these things and ultimately tesla can use that data to make a better vehicle over all.

i dont think theres some big conspiracy, tesla is just operating vehicle manufacturing as if its a software company, and expecting people to be okay with their 1.0 models with the trade off being that they will fix any problems it has for a certain period of time (warranty)
