Please re-read the various forum headers. There is only one that is a “no politics” zone and this isn’t the one you’re referencing..

I’ll just screen shot it to save you time.

Carry on everyone. Nothing to see here ?

is anyone here aware of window protection solutions for the CT? Metal grids, bars, etc? Would be interested after seeing this...

I’ve never owned a Honda. But I’m pretty sure a Civic doesn’t cost $120,000 and I’ve never heard anybody boast about how apocalypse proof Honda Civics are. ?

My Cyberbeast has a lot going for it, but Tesla (mainly Elon) needs to learn how to under-promise and over-deliver instead of doing it bass ackwards.
Funny, usually the worst thing in apocalypse movies/TV shows are other humans.

This checks out.

You guys might've brought this up already. I've been out of the loop a bit. But just in case.

The only time I left anything visible inside any of my vehicles was as bait for these same kind of subjects. Not long ago I parked my CT in the Airport Parking and video captured two subjects looking into the vehicles looking for valuables and checking for unlocked doors. My front cameras also captured him attempting other vehicles.

? ??
Thieves used to do the exact same thing with Honda Civics in the early 90s. They’d just bend the glass out a few inches though, to reach the door lock
Brings me the question: once break in to CT or any Tesla, is there anyway vehicle can be powered up and driven away? (This assumes you didn’t leave key card or your phone in vehicle)

why on earth did the sentry alarm not go off? And don't say sentry wasn't on because if it wasn't how does he have the video?
Constructive criticism is what Tesla needs to improve their deficiencies... Windows are Bullet proof... Yeah? At least bullet did not go through windows? LOL - humer aside, It appears 3/4 of thief's body going through shattered CT windows was not in the criteria list of activating Alarm, and Why not ? - i.e. recording using inside camera(s), activating Alarm/horn/lights/notification to CT owner/ These should be added to the TO DO List for Sentry developers to do something about similar event...
Sadly this is vulnerabilities for all Tesla vehicles without the window frame.
Tesla please take a note...

Powered up, yes. Driven away without a key? No, particularly if you have pin to drive on.

If they want it they will get it.
Period. I’m sure a much bigger problem is thief’s with the decide that can unlock your door if you’re key card is near

This has always been a design flaw for frameless window doors.

Also, don't leave plump looking bags out in the open in your expensive car.

Doesn't matter if it's framed, either, since it's still not attached to the top. Once flexible, the broken glass sheet will fold and the window will open.

Yeah but framed windows don't have an exposed edge when closed, is what I meant.
