Cyberbeast waiting room ⏳

I feel you. And it’s frustrating for sure. But patience is a virtue. For some perspective I was a day 2 reservation holder, configured on Jan 2 and 237 days later on August 26 was assigned a VIN. I don’t understand how it happened like that, but it did.

Configured on May 7 and just got vin 12 days ago. Still awaiting delivery.

I wanted to toss in here that IF Tesla uses the tire goop, Purple Power Wash and Wax (I had most of a gallon left over) and a simple washing takes care of the spots. Actually, probably any car wash would take the spots off. But, Sprayway would hardly touch the stuff.

Spent 20 minutes at the do it yourself wand place and now it looks worse! Spent an. Extra ten minutes with the spot free rinse. Serious learning curve ahead I feel. I just hand washed it like I do with every other vehicle and then dried it with a water blade and then toweled any remaining drops. Cleaned up like any other vehicle.

I always hand wash my vehicles. Even when I had an FJ Cruiser! ?

Pick up confirmed for tomorrow. 2 weeks exactly after getting my VIN. Rep said they had to get ready to accept my trade today. Not even sure what that means? Anyone else ever hear of this ? I submitted all information requested two weeks ago and received and accepted offer then. A little less than Carvana and Carmax ,but one stop and tax break on the trade in. So about a wash.

Texting with Tesla regarding getting the military discount and asked if they had any info on delivery date. She said it has a “soft date” of arrival at the Merritt Isle SC on Sep 2 which is 15 days after VIN assignment.

I did end up getting the military discount although it caused an issue with my VIN that finally resolved today. The truck arrived at Merritt Island and I’m picking it up Monday when I return there from a biz trip. I paid for it via Plaid today so there can’t be any question whose truck it is!

Just out of the wrap shop. Love the way the ghosted beast logo on the tailgate and foundation logos turned out. Left out the "series" because the font is much smaller so you lose some of the detail when you wrap the vinal over the logo... Matte Black​

Not sure if this is a Cyberbeast or not but either way, can they load them any gentler than this?

I saw this on YouTube and had to take a clip of what was happening when I saw them loading Cybertrucks on to carrier trucks from the Tesla lot in TX.

It appears to me that once he got it all the way to the front of the truck, he just didn’t stop and in fact pushed it further after what looks to be like a collision with a black roll bar near the top of the trailer.

From this angle it does look like he hit the front, but that sudden stop could be just the tires hitting a stopping point, might be the reason the driver tried again, because the front is so much shorter on the CT, that we wanted to get closer.

I did not take a loan from Tesla , mainly because it’s not actually a loan through them they just use 3rd party lenders.

My tax advisor told me not to put it in the business name so I just titled it in my name. Vehicles in the past that mileage was written off I was advised to put those in the business name. I don’t ask questions, I do as I’m told and so far after 20 years no audits so I’m happy lol

I don't see the problem, my Cybertruck has taken a lot of hits harder than that off-road against tree branches without so much as a scratch or dent. I'm not even sure he hit anything other than that foam covered bar. He's obviously done this before, and the bodies are really tough.
