My biggest concern the whole time I’ve had the truck on order. How will I keep the car looking nice knowing the stainless steel oxidizes and it’s difficult to get a uniform finish.

Well, I got my beast last week. I tried a number of the different recommended cleaning solutions to wipe off fingerprints all of which were pain to keep very uniform without doing a whole Panel and even then they looked splotchy.

I have been looking at different wraps at to overcome my concern. No longer. Find a new auto car wash that sprays GRAPHENE

This is one where I live. It just opened so it has all the latest scrubber and spray technology. To answer the first question on everones mind…….no scratches. In fact it seems to removes oxidation, and polishes and gives a beautiful finished. I have taken it through three days in a row to saturate the stainless pores with the GRAPHENE. The water beads off of everything. For the monthly deal of 42 bucks you could take it through every day if you want.. It Automatically checks your tag number and lets you drive right through.

i am sure you can find a similar car wash in your area. I have no commercial interest.

I love not caring about the finish. Let people touch it, scrape it, open doors into it. I really don't care. I'll run the truck through my local automatic car wash once a week and blissfully carry on not caring how many bugs are stuck to the front or how much patina doesn't wash off. That's one of the two most important features of the Cybertruck to me, the other being charging network.

finger print problem is definitely over exaggerated. Yes, there will be have some but easily wipe them off by spanaway glass cleanner. Beside the preferred color or personal statement, I really don’t see the purpose to use less impact tolerant wrap to protect much rigid stainless. It makes sense to protect the traditional car paint from scratch or rock chips.

I have just been running mine through a touchless wash with the basic option typically once a week. High pressure wash, followed by spot free rinse and then Turbo dry. I use a micro cloth to just clean off any remaining bugs (not often) and then drive away as it air dries. Ends up all sparkly, no prints, no uneven marks. 5 mins and all done. Been doing it for 2 months and no issues

I'm all in for no wrap its just not that hard to keep it clean! the windshield is the only challenge and once you figure out what works for you you might spend 20 or 30 mins.

This is my windsheild solution. It doubles as an extension pole to clean my home’s windies on the second floor.

that is what they’re telling me. . I attached the brochures. You can ceramic coat as an option for a couple dollars less. I am assuming they’re not lying.

I bought a membership at a new carwash near my house. It has been great. Super easy to keep this truck clean and I don't worry about door dings or dirt.

This is a great thread. Just love that all the fear and misunderstanding is being washed away. I use our local car wash also, and it’s been fantastic. No big deal at all. Graphene sounds sexy. Basic wash for me and it’s better than new. .

Happy with the basic $20 monthly subscription. Some stains remain but I don't need spotless shiny truck. I just make sure the glass is clean all around.

My truck is filthy because it hasn't been washed in 3 weeks. Mud splashes, insects, tree sap, berries, etc. I've been having too much fun off-roading. I do keep the glass clean, because I love the view out, but I think the Cybertruck looks just as spectacular dirty as it does sparkling clean. Maybe a bit better!

My patina is starting to look nice. All I do is rinse when I know I went through a dust abetment product. We don't do shiny around here. I would need a bit of rust actually to truly fit in. So a patina is in order.
