400kw sounds awesome! But in reality the peak doesn’t make any meaningful difference in time, it’s all about the sustained curve.

I mean, 30 minutes to 75%, seems not bad at all!

So true, but typically I higher peak indicates a higher average too. This is showing an average of 114kW, which is very good. iirc, 250kW averages between 55-65kW.

Yeah the peak lasted for a second and fell off a cliff. I hope it is ok and didn't get hurt. That is quite a drop.

For an average of 55-65kW, what SoC do you start charging at?

I start really low and once it get's down to 50kW, I'm unplugging and moving on. My average is over twice that amount! And that's at a 250kW pedestal.

I 'm pretty sure that I'm higher than 50kW average at a 150kW pedestal.

Hence why I rarely charge that high on the road. Once it's up to 50-60%, I'm using unplugging.

Oh, 100%!! I leave once I'm in the 70kW range too, whatever the percentage I can just stop again in 2 hours. This was in reference to a full 0%->100% curve average.

I'm seeing ~2 hours for near 0->100% at 250kw. Giving a curve average of 123kWh/2h = 60ish kW. Nothing precise here. But the OP is reporting double that so I don't feel the need to get exact--big improvement is all I meant!

Edit: close to 0->100% is just a consistent way to measure these things, no one in their right mind super charges to 100% normally. That's best done at home before a trip

I definitely don't think that 0-100% is a good comparison number. There's a lot going on in the last 5% that varies the charging time. You've generally got BMS resetting and cells topping off.

That's why the industry tends to use 20-80%.

YouTubers use 0-100%. Much more sensational and unrealistic results.

But it's 5-50% when I'm on the road. Stopping only for about 15 minutes. I often have to rush to get the bio-breaks completed and stocks replenished before time to start moving!
