Had a demo drive Friday 9/13. Matthews, NC. Great experience and awesome drive! Love it! CT did need a good clean as the bottom interior of the windshield was heavily clouded. Didn’t take long to get used to breaking, blinkers, or steering. Short ride but very comfortable and fun.

After the drive I asked the service advisor if there was an option to see where my order was at. He said sure - let me look it up. He said not definitive but I should see something around Oct 30. Not sure if he was blowing smoke but he did look through the service monitor before giving that feedback.

? end of Oct, im going to faint.
My configuration for CB white/AT in PA was about the same time as yours. So much for checking multiple times a day for a VIN in the Tesla app.. go figure and trick or treat is more in order before I see a Cyberbeast in my driveway.

If it meets your financials, I think its looking to be the best bet for not only ROI (minus expected depreciation) but with the use and enjoyment level I’ve been seeing from all other CT owners.
Enjoy man, I hope its everything and more than expected for you.

I personally plan to use mine for daily (along side model X plaid) and use it to also pull a Pebble RV EV camp trailer. Start doing some exploring off grid across the nation.

Any txt messages or App updates from Deivery team? Or did you just happen to go into the app and see a VIN? It’s frustrating to me that many people on here seem to not be notified upon VIN assignment and just so happen to see it listed.
However no one really details what times of day it occurs or if it does at all over weekends or late at night etc..

Wait a sec, this appears to be for an AWD dual motor config, did you convert from a Tri-Motor variant at some point?

I was like MAN THAT WAS FAST.
BUT…..
they are trying to give me the small core wheels and I specifically ordered the big boys. I don’t care about range as much (I drive a gas guzzler)
I’m assuming that the core wheels with tactical grey are not as popular because in 5 days I got my VIN c’mon now. And they are telling me to proceed with the order so they can deliver.

I meant tires. I don’t want the all season tires. They don’t look as aggressive. And those covers look itty bitty. I want the more aggressive tires (all terrain) with the big covers.

I was starting to wonder why the VIN lottery was slowing down and nice to see finally someone else getting a VIN.
After seeing Joe’s drone videos as of late, of the Austin Giga Factory outbound lots so full of Cybertrucks, I assumed we would be seeing a lot more VIN assignments on this thread, but they seem to be trickling in at a very slow pace right now.

I can't help but feel like VINs have slowed down in the past few days. Based on the postings, looks like we are in the June/July configure date range... Anybody have any thoughts?

Yes Agree, and my Order date is exactly the same as Hunky Dory - 7/24/24 although I received the invite late night 7/23 it was 7/24 early AM I did the order so hence 7/24.
This makes me think I may be getting a VIN soon as well with ordering the CB AT white and both the last 2 VIN posts one is also Eastern state. But we all know how random that is.

Hardly, it is very random and geographic.... maybe even to the SC level.

I am in VA. and my order date was 5/30 and still nothing. I wonder if we will get the big push next week like we did at the end of the last quarter.

Apologies, I looked back through your posts but couldn’t see what config you ordered, was it the AT Gray or AT/AS white you ordered?
