I didn't make that false equivalence, you did.So Ford’s is bad, therefore they all must be bad?
Auto park on my wife’s Y with 12.3.6 doors a great job.
Haha, I don't know about that. I think the computer will figure a space is too small a lot quicker than it takes me to try it and give up. ?This isn't Tesla's first attempt, but I somewhat agree.
I think my F150 autopark was a bit better than Teslas last version, but overall I doubt the majority will use autopark from anyone because it will always be slower than self parking.
However, with FSD and actual automation, Autopark is necessary and if you aren't driving at all, it doesn't matter if it's slower.
Really, you actually count seconds in your life? It isn't like the car parking itself will differ from a person by more than a few seconds. Anyone counting seconds in their life is doomed to ulcers and an early grave. More than a few seconds.I didn't make that false equivalence, you did.
I will say in my whole life I have never seen anyone use or know of someone that uses parking assist (car parks itself) in my friends, family and acquaintances. Maybe its an unpopular feature in general? ?Personally I think most people find it faster to park themselves, and time is the most valuable resource.
Do you use it on your Model Y regularly?Really, you actually count seconds in your life? It isn't like the car parking itself will differ from a person by more than a few seconds. Anyone counting seconds in their life is doomed to ulcers and an early grave. More than a few seconds.
not with this update, but the previous one did that. But I now have it. park assist. blehMy truck downloaded it, I declined the installation right away (said it would take 55 minutes)…. Went to update about an hour later and now the update has vanished?
tried soft reset and still it’s gone
anyone have this happen?
I don't, but so far it was because it didn't do a very good job of it. In recent months it has gotten better and I use it occasionally. As for all those examples you gave, I don't do any of them. I am sure that there are things that I do that would qualify, but it wouldn't be because I am trying to save time. I would rather have a good life than a fast life. How does shaving seconds provide a better life? We get only so many seconds no matter what we do, so why not slow down a bit and enjoy those seconds?Do you use it on your Model Y regularly?
Yes, every person who is speeding on the road, throwing things in the trash instead of sorting recycling, buying pre-cut fruit, letting subscription run every month instead of cancelling, or a million other things are saving seconds of time. Is it hard to believe I would rather park in <10 seconds, than wait for the car to do it in >20 seconds? I feel like there is nothing gained by waiting for the car to park itself.
I completely feel you lol. Any sign of life from Tesla would be appreciatedTease Tease Tease just send the damb update, so we have something to screw with till FSD comes down the pipe.
Ditto...I get it. I had my lock sound set to a fart as it brought a smile to my face but after several weeks the eyes of my wife rolled so much, accompanied by a loud, manufactured sigh, it got to be too much so I changed it to the X files theme. THAT she can handle because, "That is totally you".I used autopark on my Y even though it was slower than I could park simply because it put a smile on my face to watch my car do it. I assume it will be the same with my CT. Will I always use it? No. Will it park better than me? Probably not. Will have have a stupid grin on my face and make my wife roll her eyes when I show her? Absolutely![]()
I'm installing 32.5.3 just now, but I'm away on vacation and won't be able to use it for another 2 weeks. Go figure. ?Looks like Chuck is getting a new release to test
