Anyone on Geico Insurance in NY?

There was a previous discussion on obtaining car insurance from Geico for the Cybertruck in NY. I'm curious if the issue is resolved.

Any NY Cybertruck owners on Geico car insurance? Any issues with being dropped? Also, would help if you can state when your delivery was.

Yeah, geico here, no issues, and i just got my 6 month renewal a couple days ago.

Geico just sent me a letter informing me that my Cybertruck is a "restricted vehicle" and they won't insure it after all. I signed up just before taking deliver 2 weeks ago and now I have until the 25th of October to find a new company.

GEICO told me that they will not renew my CB. So I’ll be looking for new insurance for all my cars. Ask if I could just leave the other cars on and move the truck over to someone else. They said no. All company’s in NY require ALL vehicles to be on the same policy.
Yeah not happy at all and I have only owned my truck for a week.

Any claims? Or clean record? No worries if you prefer not to answer this. I'm just wondering if there could be any other reason why they decided on non-renewal, or if the reason is related to the Cybertruck only.

Idk if this matters but I also got an X plaid and a M3. So yeah don’t know at all.

I'm truly puzzled. I feel like there is something we are missing here. Some people in NY seem to be immune to this issue, while others in NY are getting dropped from Geico policy for having a Cybertruck.

I'm trying to figure out what is triggering this non-renewal for certain people, but not others.

Wow. Clean record too. This is insane. Should be illegal to put you in this situation.

I may have to forgo picking up my Cybertruck for this reason. The problem is that I cannot find anyone else besides Geico to insure the Cybertruck.

I have heard it’s getting harder to find someone in NY. I’ll be looking around shortly.
Try all the big names first then I guess go to the exotic insurance companies next.
That’s my plan
