It's marked 'Reserve yours today' and 'est. $16000' so yes, but also, it might be more.

Ok thanks for clearing that up, I woke up and saw that thinking wow I would consider giving up bed space if it was that affordable but $16K+ nah, I don't travel away from home that often to consider now unless it really makes the range as good as or better than they are saying in the future.

Yeah, it's specifically a feature for people who use it to tow, I'm thinking.

Hey Carissa, after seeing tons of postings from you on this Cybertruck order & reservations thread, as well many others.. I was under the impression this entire time you were of two camps, an original reservist for the Cybertruck and now a current owner and experiencer.
However based on recent posts, I am maybe incorrectly realizing that you may not currently own a Cybertruck am I just incorrect. If so, are you still planning to buy a Cybertruck and still have a reservation? And If so what is your target price for pulling the trigger especially now with non FS orders available and do you plan to finance, trade, lease, or buy outright etc. ?
It seems you are very interested in Cybertruck and was not sure if you are currently driving an EV or Tesla as well or just plan to have the Cybertruck as a main driver.

I see an awful lot of posts and comments from people who are obviously very emotional and excited. Do we have any real objective evidence as to whether or not this non-FS CT will be eligible for the $7,500 tax credit? I saw a suggestion on this thread that maybe if you order only the core wheels and tactical grey interior that you can get the price low enough for the tax credit, but is that just speculation or do we know that for sure?

The reason I'm asking is that I have a delivery appointment tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Pacific standard Time for a Foundation Series, and this just throws a whole new monkey wrench into my plans. I was at the bank tonight until 5:25 p.m. getting my loan secured.

?
You should stick with the FS as it’s better bang for the buck!

TAX CREDIT INFORMATION

On Jan 1, 2024, a new clause activated in the legislative that disqualifies any vehicles where the battery uses Chinese components (see clause B below). To the best of my knowledge, Tesla Cybertruck's 4680s are current using imported cathodes (and possibly other parts). Until this changes, AWD will not get the $7,500 credit even though the MSRP can be under the $80k limit.

‘‘(7) EXCLUDED ENTITIES.—For purposes of this section, the term ‘new clean vehicle’ shall not include—
(A) any vehicle placed in service after December 31, 2024, with respect to which any of the applicable critical minerals contained in the battery of such vehicle (as described in subsection (e)(1)(A)) were extracted, processed, or recycled by a foreign entity of concern (as defined in section 40207(a)(5) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (42 U.S.C. 18741(a)(5))), or
(B) any vehicle placed in service after December 31, 2023, with respect to which any of the components contained in the battery of such vehicle (as described in subsection (e)(2)(A)) were manufactured or assembled by a foreign entity of concern (as so defined).

I still have a reservation (hence being invited again tonight) but I can not currently commit to purchasing one.

I love the concept and I was hoping it would be cheaper, as announced.

But it's not. Tho even if it were, I still couldn't buy it because of household current financial situation. I'll just have to hope things turn around.

If you look at my profile, you'll see I ride an electric motorcycle as my daily ^-^

Just got an email to order my non-foundation CT. I had three early reservations and purchased a FS.

Estimated delivery OCT-NOV 2024

Nope. Not in my account. My only options are Foundation or CyberBeast.

Please list the full specs of the wheels and tires for the non-FS CT - they seem to be 19" with Scoropion ATR? tyres and wheel covers (round covers without square edges covering partially the side of the rubber.

Yes pretty much, ($7k fsd) ($3500 wheels) ($2k white decor) no 2500$ Tesla store credit. Looking at 3-5k$ savings without FS badging and any thing extra I’m missing
Beast got a $4,000 install credit too. It’s a wash
